H&M would like to introduce a new fashion designer: Matthew Williamson
a British designer who will create new fashion styles for H&M Spring/Summer 2009. Starting April 23rd, his line will be available at H&M stores worldwide.
Matthew Williamson is known for his choice of color and designs. He first started in the fashion industry during the year of 1997 when he launched his first line of work at an exhibit in the Design Museum, London. That year, he also had his debut Electric Angels Show.
Designers such as Roberto Cavalli and Stella McCartney both have launched at H&M
The designer says, "It is an incredible opportunity to be working with H&M, creating a 'Matthew Williamson for H&M' capsule collection. I love the fact that H&M have created a new phenomenon in fashion through the pioneering concept of collaboration with high-end designers to create one-off limited edition capsule collections. I am thrilled that my creations for H&M will be accessible to and hopefully enjoyed by so many people around the world".
It is no doubt that Matthew Williamson and his chic designs will be well-known after this H&M launch. Designers such as Roberto Cavalli and Stella McCartney both have launched at H&M and have created scenes for shoppers that no one will forget.
It's for people who want to look special, but his clothes can also be worn in a nonchalant way
"Matthew has such a good eye and a way for working with prints that he mixes up in a new way. When he combines these things, you get a very contemporary London look. It's for people who want to look special, but his clothes can also be worn in a nonchalant way- you can really play around with them.
