Fashion Editor Carlina Harris, was born in San Francisco, California.  She studied Aviation at San Jose State University in California, where travel and flying were her main focus.  After graduation, and a sporadic trip to Europe, Carlina was inspired by the style, architecture, and beauty in Paris, Barcelona, and London.  Noticing a change in her own wardrobe choices, and ‘fashion sense’, she knew she caught the bug.

Having been in the aviation industry for a very long time, it was a tough transition to make to the fashion world, but going to the most fashion forward events, meeting the right people, and marketing herself, made the gradual change a lot easier.  Currently, Carlina is the sole Fashion and Accessories Editor for BrandHabit, communicating with new, up and coming designers, boutique owners, while posting a weekly blog.

On her downtime, this urbane San Francisco native, does like most fashionable ladies, and shops. “Internet shopping is my thing” says Harris. “I prefer shopping online to brick and mortar, the experience is easy, hassle free, and you can always find a discount code!”  While many women may look to Carlina’s outfit choices and be inspired, Carlina’s inspirations come from faraway lands, new trends, glossies, and European street style.

New Years Goal: launch a personal fashion blog with her equally fashionable sister for 2010

Vices: Tabloids, celebrity fashion, cashmere, runway shows, too many pairs of shoes, fashion ‘reality’ tv, big over the top jewelry.
